A Divemaster is the first level of a professional diver in the SSI system. Divemasters, or DMs, oftentimes are role models for others around them, as they exude confidence and knowledge. Our DM Program functions to make you a role model as you master your skills and knowledge of diving through comprehensive training, workshops with the experienced The DiveShop Crew. You will become a more comfortable diver, ready to be in control at all times. Get the chance to learn how a dive shop operates and what your role is within that dive shop as a DM. During this program, you will also get the chance to build lifelong friendships as you overcome obstacles and gain experience with peers who become your buddies. We guarantee you will leave this course feeling confident, comfortable and in control

Divemaster Internship

During you divemaster course in Curacao, you will be introduced to working in the diving industry. Together with a mentor, you will really get to experience all the fun and duties in the diving industry. Every day you will be covering a mix of in- and out water skills and theory. After the course you will be certified as an SSI divemaster and an entire new world will open up for you.

Minimum requirement is minimum 18 years old, 40 logged dives and medical clearance signed by a physician within the last 12 months.
