Dive Society Curacao

C.D.S. Divers & Members:

1.1 Understand that C.D.S. events are only accessible for Locals/Intern(s). If you do not meet this requirement, but you would still like to participate in events, this is always in consultation with the staff.

1.2 Registration for events confirms you’re participation (this can be done at The Diveshop, via Facebook event, Messenger or WhatsApp).

1.3 Understand that times indicated at events are departure times.

1.4 Understand that Staff can cancel (and reschedule) events when necessary.

C.D.S. Divers & members: Responsibility

2.1 Are responsible for diving within their own certification level.

2.2 Are responsible for their own safety on location(s).

2.3 Are aware of their own responsibility and dive planning during recreational diving.

2.4 Understand that C.D.S. doesn’t plan decompression dives.

2.5 Understand that going diving with The Curaçao Diving Society, your last dive was no more than 3 months ago.

2.6 Are responsible for properly working diving equipment.

2.7 Will not hold C.D.S. or Dive-Inn Curacao N.V. and their partners, employees and freelancers responsible for any diving, snorkeling or any other in- or out water related injury during diving, or resulting from any of our events.

C.D.S. Divers & Members: Logistics & Liability

3.1 Will properly and with care use rental equipment and tanks.

3.2 Will respect diving facilities, rules and entrance fees around the island.

3.3 Organize their own transportation during activities.

3.4 Will not hold C.D.S. or Dive-Inn Curacao N.V. and their partners, employees and freelancers responsible for theft, damage of any personal property during events.

C.D.S. Members:

4.1 Understand that the Membership offers the possibility of various discounts and specials around the island.

4.2 Understand that information about activities and specials can be found on Facebook, our website and the WhatsApp group.

4.3 Can’t use the membership specials in combination(s) with other discounts.

4.4 Understand Membership fees are non-refundable.

4.5 Understand that the C.D.S. membership is only valid for the member listed in our database. You cannot use your membership to benefit others.

4.6 Please verify your special membership/discount (with related items) before making a purchase.

4.7 You must be able to identify yourself when making a purchase with members specials / discounts.

4.8 When your C.D.S. membership has expired, you will pay the regular rates again until the membership is renewed.

4.9 Agree that tank tokens are only redeemable and can only be used during membership.
